First Concert Experience - the prequel

Hello and welcome back to this lil ole 1d fanpage of mine. Today I'm taking you guys back in time to August 29, 2014. This date may not mean anything to you, but to me...this was the day my life changed.

My first One Direction was an Experience unlike any other. My mom, aunt, cousin, and two best friends all packed into a small SUV and traveled to Chicago. The car ride there was thick with anticipation and heated arguments over what songs they were going to perform. Once we made it to the windy city, we unpacked in our hotel and then were off. We got the chance to explore the city and experience it before our concert that night. Back to our hotel with plenty of time, the makeovers started. We had designed matching tshirts the day before and were MORE than excited to show them off that night. The photo below is for your viewing pleasure.

All right, now let's skip to actually getting to Soldier Field. Walking in was surreal, I mean I had never been in such a large stadium before. Making it to our assigned section was truly a task. Once all four of us were seated, we took a chance to take it in and you could feel the excitement in the air.

5 Seconds of Summer opened and they definitely set the pace for the night. We were all fans of theirs as well so we were screaming their lyrics right back at them as the sun was setting over the city. Soon, though, the time was approaching where One Direction would take the stage. Read my next blog post to hear ALL about it. Laurel out.
