How Fun It Is To Be Part Of A Fandom!

One of my favorite things about One Direction is the fans! Before we begin, I want to start with the fact that there are bad fans. For example, people who stalk the members or their family, people who were racist towards Zayn, and people who used their love for the band as an excuse to be rude towards other fans. 

However, there are also some really awesome people I’ve met  through the fandom. We are known as Directioners! When I was younger, I definitely felt the thrill of the random more, but I still love scrolling through Twitter and seeing people talk about the band. 

One of my favorite things is fanpages on Instagram! They were always so well run, even though they were most likely made by a 13 year old! They were up to date, interactive with followers, and sometimes even got likes/comments from the boys. 

It was fun to look through the pictures and find comments you agreed with and comment back. This usually lead to making friends with someone who also love the same member or same song. It made being a fan much more enjoyable. Laurel out.
